    I am having a fire pit made to bring with us to Ft wilderness ....I know it needs a solid top but what are the dimensions required please ??

    Hi Cyndi and welcome to planDisney! I’m excited to know that you’re planning a visit to The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! I can’t think of a more magical campground to visit! Thanks for stopping by with your question.

    I spoke to a Cast Member who informed me that there is no set size for the firepits. As long as they have a top, you are good to go! If you have any more questions, I suggest calling the Resort directly at (407) 824-2727. I just called this week to book my golf cart for a visit next June and the Cast Members were so friendly and helpful!

    Cyndi, before your visit, take a look at the recreation activities available at the Resort. I have found that you can spend a whole day doing activities at Fort Wilderness. Horseback riding, swimming in the pool or taking a guided tour of the grounds are just some of the ways you can enjoy the magical wilderness. It’s always my family’s favorite place to relax!
