We will be having dinner at the Contemporary resort, but would be visiting Epcot center that same day. Where is the best place to park so that after dinner we can pick up our car more easily?

Hi there, Eric, and welcome to planDisney! You must be so excited to arrive for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation in just a few short days!

Eric, it’s so wise to start thinking about your transportation logistics ahead of time. You’ll thank yourself when you’re not having to travel too far after a delicious dinner. I suggest parking at the Transportation and Ticket Center before heading to EPCOT. From the TTC, take the EPCOT Monorail to get to EPCOT. When you’re ready to head to the Contemporary, take the monorail back to the TTC. You’ll then want to hop on board the Resort Monorail (not the one that takes you to Magic Kingdom). You’ll take that same Resort Monorail back to the TTC after dinner.

Even though you have a dining reservation at the Contemporary, you won’t be able to leave a car there all day. You might consider going back to your car, driving to the Contemporary, and parking there (it’s complimentary!) when it’s time for your reservation.

One last option for the afternoon would be to take a bus from EPCOT to Magic Kingdom, then walking to the Contemporary. The good news is that Disney transportation is complimentary! When in doubt, use the My Disney Experience App map to get directions to your next destination.

Eric, I hope this is helpful as you make your plans. Please stop back by planDisney with any other questions you have!

    See you real soon!
