We are having breakfast at Chef mickey and dinner at Steak house 71. Can we leave the rent a car at the contemporary and take the monorail to magic kingdom . Then come back and pick up the car after the Happliy ever after show?

    Magical Greetings, John!

Welcome to planDisney, and my goodness, your itinerary sounds like a magical day at Disney's Magic Kingdom Park! I can't think of a better way to begin the day than breakfast with Mickey and his Pals at Chef Mickey's! Have the camera and hugs ready!

Guests with dining reservations at Disney Resort hotels can park their cars in the resort parking lot but have a maximum three-hour period before they face the risk of their cars being towed. Park your vehicle in the Magic Kingdom parking lot and head to the Transportation and Ticket Center, where you can take the Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort

Steakhouse 71 is one of my family's favorites! I love their Filet Mignon (paired with their Au Gratin Potatoes), and my husband ordered the Flight of all 5 Sauces, which includes a delicious Chimichurri, Red Wine, and Béarnaise, which was our favorite! I suggest ending your meal with a light dessert, and the Espresso Martini Crème Brûlée is just the ticket!

John, thanks for stopping by planDisney! I hope you and your family have a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World!

    Magic Awaits!
