We are having a big family trip on the 7 night Disney Fantasy embarking January 7, 2023. What nights are Pirate Night, Formal Night and Semi-formal night? What day is Pixar Day at Sea? Excited to start the planning.

Ahoy there, Robin! I'm so excited that you're so excited. Planning is my favorite!

Disney Cruise Line has some of the most beautiful ships at sea, and I'm so thrilled you've chosen the Disney Fantasy for this big family adventure. You will indeed have one formal night and one semi-formal night, and would it really be a Disney Cruise Line voyage if you weren't invaded by pirates one night?

You've probably noticed that Disney Cruise Line doesn't tell you the specific days for those special themed evenings, and that's with good reason, Robin. The first night, almost without fail, is cruise casual. This is really the only evening set in stone prior to your sailing. I can tell you from past experience that your formal night is usually on your first sea day, and the semi-formal night is often the second to last night. But your best bet is to wait until you've boarded the Fantasy and check your Disney Cruise Line Navigator to get a glimpse of which nights are which. They can change up until the last minute.

Pixar Day at Sea is brand new in 2023, so you will be among the very first guests to experience this new, fun, themed day onboard. If I had to guess, you're in for some pretty amazing character encounters with some of your favorite Pixar characters, specialty dining experiences, and maybe even a fun-filled, Pixar way to end the day.

I hope you are going to enjoy these next few months planning for this awesome adventure!
