I haven't been on a cruise before and will be going on one next week. What do you suggest I bring in case I get sea sick?

    Hi Rachel!
It is great to hear from you again!  My fingers are crossed that you don't feel seasick on your voyage, but it is very smart to be prepared!  I don't ever have a problem with the movement of the ship, but my husband always does!  There are two over the counter options, Bonine or Dramamine (non-drowsy), that can be picked up at your grocery or drug store.  Some Guests wear Sea Bands on their wrists that don't have any medical side effects because they use pressure to prevent feeling nauseous.  My husband uses the Scopolamine Transdermal Patch.  It does need to be prescribed by your doctor, but is quite effective.  It is a small round Band-aid like patch that is worn behind your ear. If you are interested in using this option, just let your doctor know, and they will usually call in a prescription over the phone.
I hope these suggestions help Rachel!  Please let me know if you think of any other last minute questions!
Have a magical sailing and bon voyage!
