I have a ? about haunted mansion at MK. I don't like scary things at all,but a guide book I am reading states this is not scary at all but sweet, is this true? don't like things that jump at me,etc. don't even watch scary movies at home. thanks

Hey Teresa and I am a big chicken as well.  I can't watch scary movies and never go to Haunted Houses, even at my age.  However, I do go through the Haunted Mansion at MK, actually several times each visit.  The special effects make this an attraction that you really don't want to miss.  The only place things "pop up" are in the graveyard and they don't get anywhere near you car.  It is very dark but watching the "ghosts" dance in the ballroom and watching the eyes on pictures follow you is just fascinating to watch.  I can not make your final decision for you but from one chicken to another, I can honestly say I truly enjoy this attraction.  Hope this helps and that you have an awesome WDW vacation.
