Hello, Is it a hassle to get from Saratoga Springs to Ohana at the Polynesian? Do we walk to the bus stop at Disney Springs and take the bus to Polynesian? Or would we take the bus to MK and then the monorail? How long does each option take?

Hey, hey, hey, Colleen! Welcome to planDisney!

Getting from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort to ‘Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort isn’t too bad, but it does take a little planning.

I think that your best bet is to take a bus to Magic Kingdom and then hop on the monorail or boat over to the Polynesian. That whole trip usually takes around 45 minutes to an hour, depending on bus timing. Be sure to give yourself enough time to wait for the bus, boat and monorail.

Another option is that you could walk or take a boat from Saratoga Springs to Disney Springs and then catch a bus to the Polynesian, but that option typically takes longer, which is closer to an hour and fifteen minutes or more, because you’d have to factor in the walk from the boat at Disney Springs to the bus area.

If you’re heading to an ‘Ohana breakfast or dinner, I’d plan to leave least 75 minutes early, just to be safe. Disney transportation can be unpredictable at times, especially during busy hours and if you arrive at the Polynesian early you can always take in the sights of this beautiful resort before your dining time.

Thanks for stopping by Colleen, and feel free to visit with us again soon. We are more than excited to help you plan the perfect Disney vacation.
