Ahoy Dana!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I am so glad you cruised by today with a question about my favorite Disney Cruise Line topic - food!
I have sailed with my mother-in-law who needed to eat a gluten-free diet due to a medical condition. She was happy with all the options and always full! She found it very easy to maintain her gluten-free diet while onboard.
Onboard each
ship, you will find the menus clearly marked with gluten-free menu options. There are several different meals on each night's menu that are gluten-free in the three
rotational dining rooms. Be sure to let your service team know of your dietary need. Since they are with you each night, they can point out the best gluten-free option for you each evening. I have ordered both the gluten-free Lemon and Thyme Roasted Chicken Breast and the Lobster Salad on multiple sailings and they were delicious!
If dining at
Cabanas, the adults exclusive restaurants
Palo and
Remy or ordering
room service to your stateroom, each dish is also marked if it is gluten-free. If you have questions, the service team in all of these dining rooms are knowledgeable about the food served and will help you make selections that meet your need.
While exploring on your
Port Adventures, you will need to ask about gluten-free options on your specific tour. Some adventures may include a snack or light meal. To be safe, you may always check if you are allowed to carry off a snack from Cabanas that you know is gluten-free.
Enjoy your culinary adventures while onboard! Bon voyage! Angie
