Happy New Year! I have been told conflicting answers, so would like verification please....Are inflatable arm bands (floaties) from home allowed at the water parks/resort pools? My 8 yr. old is not yet a confident swimmer. (Does not like big vest.) Thx! :)

Hi, Lynne! Happy New Year to you, too! You may have been told conflicting things because the answer to this question is more complex than it would seem to be on the surface.  Yes, floaties, noodles, swim rings, and other small pool toys are allowed.  They even sell some of them in the gift shops.  However, floats which potentially block a lifeguard's view (lounge floats or ride-on rafts) are not permitted. To further complicate matters, no pool toys (including floaties) are allowed on the slides.  Your child would need to switch to a vest to slide.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
