Hi Deborah!
Welcome back! It's so nice to see a familiar face return to ask another wonderful vacation planning question. I hope you are having a blast making your plans for your magical adventure. It's my pleasure to help you out today.
Disney Gift Cards are my so called 'savings plan' for my trips. I buy one each time I grocery shop and save them up to pay for tips, souvenirs and extra snacks and drinks while on vacation. Did you know you can even combine your Gift Cards into one on the
Disney Gift Card website. It's awesome. I am happy to report that a Disney Gift Card can be used to pay for meals and gratuities while on vacation. If you are using one of the fabulous
Disney Dining Plans you can still pay your gratuity with a Disney Gift Card. My family will often leave our Disney Gift Card in the safe in our room and charge our gratuities and extras to our
MagicBand. On the day we depart we pay off the balance we have charged using the Disney Gift Card. This allows us to not have to worry about losing our card while we visit the parks.
I hope this has answered your question. It's always fun to help a fellow Guest, so please let me know if I can assist you in the future.
Dream as Dreamers Do,
Jen
