Hi, U! Thanks for reaching out to us here at planDisney!
Ah, the
Walt Disney World Resort during the holidays. I say it a lot, but I mean it: there's truly nothing like it. And while there's more to this time of year than sleigh bells and holly, mistletoe and snow, the decorations and activities around
Magic Kingdom Park especially help to contribute to the feeling of joy and happiness in the air. After all, as my Princess friend Belle points out, as long as there's Christmas, hope is the greatest of the gifts we'll receive!
On nights when
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (a separately ticketed after-hours event) is taking place,
Happily Ever After will
not be performed. During the dates you have provided, the party will take place on November 19th, 21st, and 22nd. So on these dates, Happily Ever After will not be performed. Instead,
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show will light up the sky specifically for party-goers. On November 20th, 23rd, 24th, and 25th, as long as the weather cooperates, Happily Ever After should be shown!
During this time of year, I like to try to see both shows. I schedule a day for Happily Ever After, my current favorite
nighttime spectacular at the resort, and purchase a ticket to the party to see the holiday show. One of my favorite Disney holiday songs, "When We're Together" from
Olaf's Frozen Adventure, is usually included in the holiday show and it always gives me a warm and fuzzy feeling that I only get during the holidays. If you're able to attend the party, I always recommend it. Not just for the fireworks, but also for
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade,
Mickey's Most Merriest Celebration stage show, the
specialty treats, the"snow" on Main Street, U.S.A., and so much more!
If you visit again in the future, be sure to check out the brand-new nighttime spectacular coming to
EPCOT on December 5, 2023. It's called "
Luminous The Symphony of Us" and it promises to be a beautiful and moving show. And really, anything performed in the middle of the World Showcase Lagoon is going to be a special experience. If you're able to see the current show,
EPCOT Forever, when you are there in November, you won't regret it!
If you have any other questions,
please reach out to me and I'd be happy to answer them!
A star shines above us, lighting your way and mine,
Matt
