Hello Graciela! Welcome to planDisney.
Standard Walt Disney World
theme park tickets are date-based and have a
specific usage period. A 3-day theme park ticket expires 5 days after the selected start date. Adding the Water Park and Sports Option adds an additional day to the valid usage period. Some employers offer Magic Your Way tickets, which do not have a specific start date however all admission days expire 14 days after first use. There are other types of tickets such as Florida resident special offers or military tickets that have different expiration policies, but in most cases, tickets available to the general public are dated-based tickets that expire after a set time period. You should be able to view the valid dates for your ticket in the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Use the menu button in the lower right corner of the home screen to select "Tickets and Passes".
If you won't be able to use all three admission days on your upcoming visit, unfortunately, the unused admission will expire according to the expiration policy for that ticket. I have a few suggestions for you. It is possible to change your ticket to a higher-priced ticket and pay the difference in cost. No refunds are given if changing to a lower-priced ticket. You might consider changing your ticket from a 3-day 1 Park Per Day ticket to a 2-Day ticket with the
Park Hopper Option. This would allow you to visit multiple theme parks each of the 2 admission days. If you will be visiting again in the future, you can change the start date on your 3-Day ticket to use on another vacation, and purchase a new 2-Day ticket for your visit this week. If the cost of the new dates is higher, you will be responsible for the difference. Look for the option to "Change Ticket" when viewing "Tickets and Passes" in your
My Disney Experience account.
Don't forget, at this time all Guests ages 3 and up require a
Disney Park Pass theme park reservation in addition to valid admission. Be sure to check the
theme park reservation availability calendar prior to making any changes.
I hope that helps! If you have further questions, please feel free to submit another question to us with more information about your specific ticket type and we'll do our best to help. You may also
contact the Existing Tickets line to chat about your ticket options.
