    what happens in october does the park close and you have to buy a new ticket

    You are correct! Disney California Adventure Park does close early on certain nights for Oogie Boogie Bash- A Halloween Party. You do need a separate special event ticket to attend this event.

    If you have plans to visit Disney California Adventure Park during your next visit, you can still enjoy the park until regular closing time. There’s plenty of Halloween fun to enjoy! Many of the attractions are all dressed up for the spooky season! You can also enjoy some time at Disneyland Park. Haunted Mansion Holiday gets a makeover from Jack Skellington and his friends, and you won’t want to miss the Main Street Pumpkin Festival!
