Hi, Kimberly! It's a pleasure to welcome a fellow Floridian to planDisney!
The moment 50 years in the making is almost here - and you'll get to see it in person! I'm so excited to be at the
Magic Kingdom Park for the big 50th Anniversary of the Walt Disney World Resort. It's truly going to be
The World's Most Magical Celebration!
Kimberly, my friend and fellow panelist Aena recently
shared her insight on this very same question with another Guest. She reports that any
Disney Park Pass reservations associated with your tickets would be lost when upgrading to an Annual Pass. October 1 is already a very popular date to visit the Magic Kingdom Park, so I agree that you definitely don't want Stitch getting ahold of your reservation!
The good news is, you can
upgrade in person right up until the last day of the ticket! So for example, if you're using 1-Day Tickets, you'll enter the theme park on the day of your reservation, then
stop by Guest Relations inside the park to complete the upgrade. If you have Multi-Day Tickets and there's still at least one day remaining after your visit to the Magic Kingdom Park, you can wait and upgrade on the last day if you prefer. You'll still get the value of your ticket!
We only have a couple more weeks to wait, Kimberly, but I just know the 50th Anniversary celebration is going to be totally worth it! I wish you a magical year as a
Walt Disney World Annual Passholder!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
