What happens if we come down with covid days before our trip. Can park entry tickets be refunded?

    Hi Brian! Welcome to planDisney!

Just a few more days and you and your party will be "wheels up" and on your way to The Most Magical Place on Earth! While any time of year is a perfect time to visit, the holidays just have an extra-special holly, jolly feel that only Disney can create! Take some time to "Resort hop" and see how the different Disney Resorts Collection hotels have decked their halls for Christmas.  Make sure to stop by Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa to see the giant Gingerbread House and grab a tasty Gingerbread Mickey treat!

While we all hope nothing comes between you and your magical vacation, we all know, now more than ever, that sicknesses happen and sometimes changes are inevitable.  If you've purchased a Walt Disney World Resort vacation package, which includes your stay in a Disney Resorts Collection hotel and your Theme Park Tickets, changes can be made without penalty up to 30 days before your arrival at the Resort. Between 2 and 29 days before your arrival, which is where you currently fall, you're able to cancel your trip for a full refund minus a $200 cancellation fee per package.  If you have to cancel just one day before your trip the full price of the package is non-refundable.

While you may not be able to receive a refund there is the option of changing your reservation or vacation package to a later date if necessary.  In this case, your party may be charged a $50 change fee (prices subject to change) and will be responsible for any increase in prices as a result of this change.

Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets are non-transferable and non-refundable, but if you've only purchased Theme Park Tickets and not a vacation package you may be able to change the dates on your Tickets to a date in the future. You can do so by calling a friendly Cast Member at the Existing Tickets line at (407) 934-7639 or by using your My Disney Experience mobile app to modify your Ticket dates.  In this case, you do not lose the value of the Tickets and instead just push your magical vacation to dates in the future.

Hopefully, you and your party will be well and on your way to see Mickey Mouse very soon!

Meet the Panelist: Ashley, Massachusetts

Hi All, I'm Ashley! From the very beginning Walt Disney World Resort has always been a part of my life. As a child I excitedly helped to plan family trips, as a young adult I planned our "happily ever after" right on Disney property, and now I'm lucky enough to plan magical vacations for my three incredible children. When we're not taking in the enchanting experiences of the parks, we're home in Massachusetts, probably planning our next trip! Learn More About Ashley
