What happens if you have dining reservations at a restaurant in Disney Springs, but they reach capacity before we arrive?

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Amy!

I am so excited to hear that you are planning to return to the magic later this month!  My family is visiting at the same time and we cannot wait to get back.

Since our pal Mickey Mouse announced he was once again welcoming Guests back to the Most Magical Place on Earth, I've been following all of the announcements and updates about the reopening on the Disney Parks Blog.  Here I have found great information on the phased reopening of Disney Springs.

Physical distancing and capacity measures are two of the key guidelines in place at Disney Springs to keep Guests safe during their visit.  With these guidelines in place, once the parking garages are full, Guests will no longer be able to enter Disney Springs, even if you have an existing dining reservation.

We have a dinner reservation at Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' during our visit.  Since I know we are arriving later in the evening and Disney Springs could potentially be at capacity by the time we arrive, my family has chosen a few restaurants at the Walt Disney World Resort hotels so if we cannot eat at Disney Springs, we can quickly look for a reservation at one of our other choices.  It is always good to have a "plan B!"

Check back in with the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions before your visit, Amy.  I hope your next Disney day is incredible!

Good luck and pixie dust!  Angie
