    What happens if I book a trip, including the dining plan through my travel agent and then the free dining offer comes out? Can I still get the free dining or am I stuck paying for it?

    Hello Carol!

    Thanks for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel to ask another fabulous Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question.  It is my pleasure to help you out today.

    If you purchase a Walt Disney World vacation package that includes one of the Disney Dining Plans from a travel agent and a special offer including free dining comes along the travel agent can try to have the offer added to your reservation.   Please keep in mind that rooms for Disney's Free Dining offer are limited and they may not be available at the particular Resort hotel you are booked at.  Your travel agent may have to change your hotel or days of travel in order to add the special offer.  Travel agents are flexible and very used to adjusting reservations to include discounts and offers as they come out.   I would make sure your travel agent knows you would like any special offer or discount that can apply to your trip to be added.   Most will do this on their own, but it never hurts to do some research of your own as well.   The Special Offers, Deals & Discounts page of the Walt Disney World website will have all current offers listed.   I advise you to check it often as these change and you could let your travel agent know as well.
