Hi. Is there handicapped parking for GOLF CARTS on Disney Fort Wilderness Campground property?... or are they all fairly close to the destination of each place your trying to reach... marina, the restaurant, bus station to other parks and etc. Thank you.

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tammy! Before you know it, you’ll be enjoying a vacation in the most magical type of wilderness at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort! Thanks for stopping in with your question.

Renting a golf cart when you’re visiting this special frontier themed resort is always the way to go. It’s the easiest way to get around and parking for the carts is very convenient. If you’re enjoying a show and a meal at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, you’ll be able to park across the building in a special lot just for carts. The same goes for Trail's End Restaurant. When it comes to the marina, you will find lots of golf cart parking on your right-hand side as you’re approaching the dock. Whether you’re enjoying a day at the Magic Kingdom Park and getting there via the water taxi, or just enjoying the Electrical Water Pageant -Magic Kingdom Park from the Fort Wilderness marina, you will find that cart parking is always close by.

Tammy, did you know that the Fort Wilderness property holds a golf cart parade for Halloween? For more details about the parade, or if you’d like to be a part of it, just get in touch with a friendly Cast Member at the golf cart rental office at (407) 824-2742.  It’s just another fun Autumn activity that you can enjoy during your magical visit at the Walt Disney World Resort!

I hope this information is helpful to you. Please feel free to come back to see us if you have any more planning questions. Helping you with all the details is our pleasure!
