    Going to Halloween party 9-2019, not staying at any resort. If I buy tickets online will they link to magic bands I had from our stay June 2018? We still have our bands.

    Thanks for submitting your question to us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I've got to tell you, my family loves our MagicBands! They are so convenient, aren't they? We are Florida residents and Annual Passholders, and we often visit the Walt Disney World Resort just for the day and return to our home in the evening.  We frequently visit and do not stay in a resort, similar to the scenario in your question.

    Please know that any tickets you purchase must be linked to your My Disney Experience account to be connected to the MagicBands from your previous visit.  You will need to link each person in your party to a separate ticket to ensure their MagicBands will be connected to the tickets for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.  I'm so thrilled that you plan on attending this special event-it's my absolute favorite.

    Since you're attending, I should mention to keep an eye out for all the special event merchandise and treats during the party!  We loved the special cupcakes and treats when we attended last year; I'm sure there will be more tasty offerings in 2019 as well.  There have been limited edition MagicBands in years past for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party; they make fun mementos of your vacation.
