Welcome to planDisney, Ashley! With three days at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure, plus a night at
Oogie Boogie Bash, you’ve brewed up a delightfully wicked itinerary. Let’s tie up those last-minute details so you’re ready for all the tricks, treats, and magical moments ahead.
You’ll be happy to know that you can link your
MagicBand+ to both your Park Hopper tickets and your Oogie Boogie Bash event ticket. However, only one ticket can be
actively assigned to your MagicBand+ at a time. So, for example, if your band is linked to your Park Hopper tickets during the day, you’ll need to reassign it to your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket before the party begins. Fortunately, this spell is easy to cast! Just open the
Disneyland app, tap the three stacked lines in the bottom-right corner, scroll to the “Account” section, and select “MagicBand+.” Tap your Halloween-themed band, scroll down to “Reassign,” and choose your Oogie Boogie Bash ticket. To switch back to your Park Hopper ticket, follow the same steps. Voilà! No pixie dust required!
Here’s a helpful Q-Tip: Guests with party-only tickets must check in to receive their event wristbands. Lines at the main entrance can stretch like Oogie’s shadow when the party begins, so here’s a trick (or treat!): if you’re already inside Disney California Adventure before the party starts, you can check in at select wristband distribution spots within the park. These interior locations typically have shorter lines, giving you more time to enjoy spellbinding fun.
One last tip, Ashley: the
Frightfully Fun Parade usually has two showings, and the second tends to be less crowded. For some boo-tiful views, try watching near The Little Mermaid – Ariel’s Undersea Adventure or across from Carthay Circle Theater. You’ll get great photos…and an appearance from the Headless Horseman!
From pumpkin-spiced snacks to villainous encounters, there’s so much to enjoy during Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. If any other questions haunt you as your trip approaches, please float back to visit us at planDisney.
Wishing you a hauntingly magical visit!
