Welcome aboard, Meghan! My family is really looking forward to setting sail again with Disney Cruise Line this fall for the
Halloween on the High Seas adventures. You're going to have so many spook-tacular activities onboard this cruise!
Mickey's Mouse-querade Party is a blast! Dress up in Halloween costumes for all sorts of singing, dancing, and yes, Trick-or-Treating! I checked with Disney Cruise Line and found out that there are special treats for those with nut allergies, and those stations are designated with purple baskets, showing they're safe for nut allergies. You didn't mention what type of allergy your daughter has, but if it's nuts, point her in the direction of the purple baskets, and you'll be all set! If there are other allergies that she has, please speak with Guest Services once onboard for more specifics, and just to be safe, confirm the purple basket nut allergy treats with them there too.
If you haven't already, be sure to add a note to your cruise reservation letting them know that your daughter has allergies, and note the specific type. This information is then given to your dining servers so that they can give you recommendations for meals that are safe onboard. I love that with
Disney Cruise Line's Rotational Dining, we have the same dining service team each night, as they rotate with us through the three restaurants, getting to know us and our preferences and we get to know them! They are always so fun, playing games, tricks, and jokes with the kids. It's a wonderful way to enjoy our dinners each evening.
Have such fun planning and stop back with more questions before you set sail, Meghan! We're happy to help!
