Hi! We are going to the Halloween event on 9/24. We have tickets for the event, but do not have park passes so I know we can't enter until 4PM. However, I would like to buy multi-lane passes and single ride passes in advance. Is this possible?

Boo to You, Andrew! Welcome to planDisney and thank you so much for visiting us with this frightfully delightful question.

You are in for a grim grinning good time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party later this month! This separately ticketed after-hours event is full of special character encounters (many in their Halloween costumes), trick-or-treat stations, live seasonal entertainment including the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular featuring the Sanderson Sisters, and some fun twists on fan-favorite attractions around Magic Kingdom Park!

One fabulous thing about this special event is the ability to use standby queues for select attractions that are quite a bit shorter than you might find during regular theme park hours. With this in mind, I was able to confirm with a Cast Member that Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass will not be offered during the Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party event. Indeed, your special event ticket will grant you entry to Magic Kingdom Park beginning at 4:00 PM on the day of the party, but Lightning Lanes can only be purchased by Guests who also have valid, regular theme park admission for that day. I'm sorry if this is disappointing news, but I hope you'll find there is no shortage of spellbinding fun for the whole family during this unique seasonal event!

Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade is one of my favorite offerings, and I've got a tip that some of my fellow panelists shared with me last year when I attended Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. If you can manage to prioritize the second parade viewing, you'll find that crowd volumes are often a bit lighter. This will also leave you more time to experience attractions earlier in the evening. Of course, showtimes are subject to change, but this strategy worked really nicely for our group last year!

I hope this is some useful guidance for now, Andrew. More than anything, I wish you and your loved ones a truly unforgettable visit to Walt Disney World Resort this Fall. You might want to view the latest Disney Eats: Foodie Guide in preparation for your visit since there are so many chilling eats and treats to enjoy (no tricks!) In the meantime, please don't hesitate to come back to planDisney anytime we can be helpful in the future.

    Magically yours,
    Tishra
