¡Hola Soledad!
Welcome to planDisney! We love a trip to Walt Disney World in the fall and winter. For one, it takes us away from the chilly Northeast temperatures, which can be brutal. Secondly, it gives us a chance to celebrate
fall and
winter festivities such as Halloween, and our favorite time of year, Christmas, surrounded by the magic of the
Walt Disney World Resort!
Fall decor is typically set up at the theme parks towards the end of August. The
holiday season decor in Magic Kingdom changes right after Halloween. However, the holiday decorations at the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels will not be completed until closer to Thanksgiving, so you may want to keep that in mind when booking. We have been there when the 'seasonal' decor has changed from one day to another, and it was pretty neat. One day there were fall decorations, from Mickey-shaped pumpkins to fall-colored bunting at Magic Kingdom. When we arrived the next day, there were Christmas trees and holiday lights! If you are interested in seeing Magic Kingdom park decorated for both seasons, my suggestion is to book your reservation for the last week of October into the first week of November. While the other theme parks will still be in the process of 'dressing up' for the holidays, you'll be sure to experience both Halloween and Christmas at Magic Kingdom park.
Soledad, did you know you could ask us questions in Spanish? That's right! Several Spanish panelists are waiting to help you make the most out of your Disney vacations! Visit us at
