Cheers, Renate! Thanks for pulling up a chair to our planDisney beverage bar. I'm happy to help walk you through beverage options during your visit.
You didn't mention if you have the
Disney Dining Plan, but let's start there. The Dining Plan includes beverages with every meal; non-carbonated options include tea, coffee, lemonade, juice, milkshakes, or smoothies. You also can get a single-serve alcoholic beverage (for guests aged 21 and older); options include wine, beer, sangria, and
specialty drinks or mixed cocktails. As you're in the Parks, you will notice a lot of
Quick Service locations that serve a variety of snacks, including drinks, and the non-carbonated options are plenty!
I tend to start my day out with tea (married to a Scot, it's become my default drink!), and
Joffrey's or Starbucks are our go-to stops in the Parks. My kids love to grab their pink drinks or smoothies on the go, and then we usually stick with water the rest of the day to stay hydrated. In the evenings, I love to find a "fun" beverage; since I don't drink, I've made it a goal to work through the mocktails on the menu, and so far, Disney does not disappoint!
You're visiting during the
International Flower & Garden Festival at EPCOT. I would highly recommend drinking around the world (whether it be alcoholic or non!) and sampling the beverages at the Outdoor Kitchens! The
Frozen Desert Violet Lemonade at Pineapple Promenade is so delicious that I've been known to return two, three, and maybe four times during the same day! Hopefully, they offer it for you to try on your visit (it's a fan favorite, so fingers crossed it will be back!), but if it's not there, you will have so many other delectable drinks to choose from.
Renate, I hope these suggestions help you hydrate during your stay. Make sure to use your My Disney Experience app to look up menus and
order ahead while you're on the go. Don't hesitate to come back for more tips and sips!
