My 3 and a half year old take a nap every day at around 1:30 or 2pm .Is there a good way to handle naps especially in the hotel? Can I go to and from the parks to accommodate nap time?

    Hi Lauren,

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question! I know you must be so excited for your little one to experience the magic of Walt Disney World Resort   When my children were younger, we always went back to our Disney Resort hotel for an afternoon nap and would return to the park in the early evening. We found that they were able to more thoroughly enjoy the nighttime activities in the park when they had gotten a much needed afternoon nap. I recommend giving yourself ample time to travel back to your resort hotel prior to your little one's usual nap time so that he/she doesn't fall asleep en route. My children would not typically fall back asleep if their nap got interrupted. If your room has not been cleaned prior to returning, I suggest putting the privacy sign on the door.

You are more than welcome to leave and reenter the same park on that same day with a regular theme park ticket. If you have added the Park Hopper Option to your theme park tickets, you can visit a second park on that same day.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. If you have any additional questions, please don't hesitate to visit us again. Best wishes for a magical trip, Lauren!

    Happy Travels,
    Jodie
