Where can I get my hair braided?

Welcome to planDisney, Rachel, and thanks for this great question. Much like Rapunzel, you're ready for your vacation to begin, so let's search for places to get your hair braided on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort visit!

I recently answered a question from another guest about hair wrapping, so if that's what you're looking for, you might find this information helpful. Hair wrapping stations can pop up without notice, so sometimes, you must be in the right place at the right time. Keep your eyes open or ask a Cast Member if you plan to visit a Disney Resort Hotel lobby, Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, or Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. I'm sprinkling pixie dust, so you'll find a kiosk and let your hair down!

If you're interested in a braided hairstyle, I'd suggest booking an appointment at a salon like The Grand Floridian Spa. They offer various styles and updos, and their current menu lists an option for "Simple Braids." What a great way to look great and keep cool on a warm summer day. Be sure to book in advance since spots fill up quickly. Call them at (407) 824-3039 so you can come down from your tower for some hairstyling fun!

Rachel, I hope your upcoming trip is practically perfect...perfectly coiffed! Stop by planDisney anytime because we love untangling planning questions.

    Magic awaits,
