Hi guys! I was wondering if Chefs de France would be appropriate for my 3 year old son and 9 year old daughter? Is this restaurant kid friendly? Thank You.

Hi, Sarah! Thanks for stopping by with another great question! With just a few exceptions (Victoria & Albert's, for example), you will find the restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort to be very kid friendly. The kids' menus offer tasty healthful meal choices (look for the Mickey Check symbol) as well as perennial kid favorites such as chicken nuggets, pizza and mac 'n' cheese.

My daughter has been dining with us at Chefs de France since she was 4 years old. She asks to go back on EVERY visit! The Macaroni baked with Bechamel cream sauce and Gruyere cheese is a family favorite. This is not your boxed supermarket mac 'n' cheese! It's a French gourmet version made with rigatoni pasta and baked to perfection in a decadent cream and cheese sauce. (Since this dish is not technically on the kids' menu, we request a child's portion for my daughter and the wait staff have always been very accommodating). Rounding out the classic French bistro fare are several fabulous desserts: the choux pastry puffs filled with ice cream (known as profiteroles), the creme brulee and the mousse au chocolat are especially good. Can you tell we're big fans of Les Chefs?!

I would be remiss if I didn't mention one of the highlights of dining at Chefs de France - Bon Appetit with Chef Remy! This adorable little guy from the Disney/Pixar film Ratatouille visits several times a day and delights diners young and old. To confirm Remy's schedule and make a reservation, call 407-WDW-DINE (407-939-3463). Les Chefs is a popular dining spot in Epcot's World Showcase - be sure to make your advance dining reservation as early as possible (up to 180 days prior to your arrival).

Wishing you a magical vacation and a delicious meal at Chefs de France!
