    Hi guys, visiting in feb 2013 with my wife and kids 15, 11 & 4, last here in 2009. Staying off Disney can we still eat in all hotels? travelling with our friends 2 adults and kids aged 8 & 4 who are first timers ...... Recommendations please

    Hi, Stephen! Guests do NOT have to stay on-site to make dining reservations.  All meals, including resort dining, are open to anyone. At the resorts I highly recommend Yachtsman Steakhouse at the Yacht Club Resort, Boma at Animal Kingdom Lodge, Whispering Canyon Cafe at the Wilderness Lodge, and the California Grill at the Contemporary Resort, but there are many, many great resort restaurants to choose.  You can make your reservations online on the Where to Eat page, or by calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
