Abby, I ran into the exact same situation with my
MagicBand order. As you know, Guests with a stay at a
Disney Resort Hotel are eligible to order complimentary solid-colored MagicBands or upgrade to premium character bands for a discounted price. During this
temporary closure period, new MagicBand orders associated with Disney Resort Hotel stays or Annual Passes are not being processed or shipped. Normally, orders that contain at least one premium band are processed and shipped immediately, even if the resort stay is many months away. Orders with only complimentary solid-colored bands remain open and editable up until the time of shipment, approximately a month prior to arrival.
The good news is Guests have up
until 11 days prior to arrival to customize their MagicBands for shipment to their home, and up until 6 days prior to arrival for pick up at their Disney Resort Hotel. I have selected solid-colored MagicBands as my "preliminary" choice, and will edit my order when premium MagicBands are once again available. As Walt Disney World Resort begins the process of reopening, I recommend checking back periodically to see if MagicBand ordering has resumed. Also, keep your eye on the
