Hi guys, We are travelling from Ireland in June and have pre purchased our park tickets and have already linked them to our My Disney Experience account. Do we need to bring ID to the Parks every day? We really don't want to have to carry 5 Passports!

    Hi Bernie,

Once you have your park tickets and link them to your My Disney Experience account, you won't need to bring ID for park admission. You'll just scan your ticket (or more likely your linked MagicBand) at the entrance posts and go into the park.

However, you may want to keep some form of ID with you in the parks. At many merchandise locations, you'll be asked to provide a photo ID if you're charging a purchase over $50 onto your MagicBand or room charge account. Also, when I'm traveling (particularly in a different country), I like to make sure that I have some form of ID on my person in case of emergency.

In both the cases I mentioned, the identification doesn't have to be your passport. If you have other, smaller photo ID (such as your home drivers' license) you could use that for in-park identification rather than carrying around bulky passports.

If you decide to leave the passports behind, there are small safes in every Disney resort hotel room.

Good luck with your planning. Please let us know what else we can do to help.
