Do you guys have any tips on how to fit both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon into one day. What are the average wait times for the slides. We kind of want to avoid body slides as well, so just mat and raft slides. We plan on going to them May 29

Hi Samantha!  My family loves the Disney Water Parks so much that we purchased annual water park passes for the entire family this past year! If you plan to avoid the body slides, then you may actually be able to accomplish your goal of visiting both parks in one day. Both Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon have many exciting attractions, as well as, lazy rivers and wave pools. Follow the links I provided to view the list of attractions featured at each water park. I would recommend that you visit the park that has the most attractions you are interested in experiencing first thing in the morning. Although we love both water parks, my personal favorite is Disney's Blizzard Beach for the unique theming and exciting water slides. We visited both parks two weeks ago and wait times varied between 15 and 60 minutes. The longest lines at Blizzard Beach were for the Downhill Double Dipper, a raft ride, Slush Gusher, and Summit Plummet. Wait times for the family raft ride, Teamboat Springs, averaged around 15 minutes throughout the day.The Chair Lift, which is a fun way to travel to the top of Mount Gushmore for boarding Teamboat Springs, gets long early in the day so I would suggest enjoying a "lift" first thing. The longest line at Typhoon Lagoon is usually Crush 'n' Gusher.  I do think the fact that you are visiting on a weekday should work to your advantage, as I have found weekdays to be less busy than the weekends. I looked up park hours for you and it looks as if both parks will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on May 29, 2012. I would recommend arriving right at park opening. I hope this helps!  Please write back if you have any other questions regarding the Disney water parks or your upcoming vacation!  Best wishes for a Splish Splashing Good Time, Samantha!
