Hello there Analisa!
Thanks for bringing your question to us here at planDisney. I see you're hoping to visit next summer, and if you're anything like me you know it's never too early to start planning. I'm happy to share that guests can make 2024 bookings for
Walt Disney World Resort beginning May 31. That's just a few days away so let's make sure you're fully prepared to get those travel plans underway!
If you're hoping to purchase a vacation package that includes
theme park tickets and a
Disney Resort Collection Hotel reservation, you can do so with a minimal deposit, as long as it's booked 31 days or more before your date of arrival. The final balance of your vacation package will be due 30 days prior to your check-in date, but many guests like to make smaller payments leading up to their final paid in full date.
You'll be able to do this
online via your My Disney Experience account. Simply select "My Plans" to locate your reservation information and click "Make Payment" to pay your desired amount. I'd just like to mention that you may only pay using one
Disney Gift Card per transaction. However, if you happen to have multiple Disney Gift Cards to apply you can transfer funds between cards, up to $1000. Just be sure to hang on to any cards used as payment toward your vacation package as any refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
If you are planning to only purchase theme park tickets payment is due in full at the time of purchase, and tickets are nonrefundable. On the other hand, if you are planning to reserve a resort room without any theme park tickets, payment for the first night plus applicable tax is due at booking, with the remaining nights due at check-in. If you need further clarification on tickets, packages or policies you
can contact a Cast Member by phone or online chat for additional assistance.
Now that the logistics are out of the way, your next challenge is deciding where to stay and what parks to experience during your visit! There are so many resorts available to fit any budget, but one of my personal favorites is
Disney's Art of Animation Resort. Not only are the grounds and rooms adorably themed, but you'll have
Disney Skyliner access to both
EPCOT and
Disney's Hollywood Studios as an Art of Animation guest. Plus, the resort's Big Blue Pool is the largest on Walt Disney World Resort property. You'll be ready to "just keep swimming" as soon as you dip your undertows, I mean toes, in the water.
If I can help you with park itineraries, dining suggestions or anything else please feel free to
reach back out to me. I'm always happy to help!
Wishing you magic and memories,
Amy
