Do you guys know if “it’s a small world” will be we re-opened by March 2025? We are visiting Disneyland march 13th

    Hi Tessa!

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. Before any visit to Disneyland, I always want to know which attractions might be unavailable to experience while I'm there. This helps alleviate any disappointments, especially for my young kids but, let's be honest, for me too. Your question is a good one, Tessa!

According to the Hours & Events Calendar, no reopening date has been scheduled yet for "it's a small world," and at the time of this writing, this particular attraction is scheduled to be closed for refurbishment at least through March 17, which is as far out as the calendar currently goes.

Closure dates for attractions are released six weeks out but it's important to know that they can change at any time. I encourage you to check back to the Hours & Events Calendar for any updates. Not only will it provide updated closure information, but much more including park hours, entertainment offerings, and any events that may be occurring during your visit. Make sure you've selected your specific dates and park at the top.

I would also keep your eye on the "it's a small world" attraction page on the Disneyland website which should provide you with updates, as well.

I know it can be disappointing when a beloved attraction will be closed during a visit to Disneyland, Tessa, but what's wonderful about the Happiest Place on Earth is that there is always something new (or old) to experience! For instance, have you ever been in the Enchanted Tiki Room? With darling animatronics (the first to introduce this innovative technology!) and catchy tunes, the Enchanted Tiki Room reminds me a lot of "it's a small world." And, like "it's a small world," the Enchanted Tiki Room is a lovely place to escape the afternoon heat by cooling off in the glorious air conditioning! Most of all, I enjoy experiencing anything that came from the imagination of Walt Disney himself, as the Enchanted Tiki Room did. So, grab a Chili-Mango Dole Whip from the Tropical Hideaway and get ready to be immersed in quintessential Disneyland magic.

I hope this has been helpful to you in your planning, Tessa, and that you have an incredible visit. If you have any additional questions, you've got a friend in me! I'm always happy to chat about Disneyland.

    Warmest wishes,
    McCayla

Hello from the Pacific Northwest! I'm McCayla, a wife and mom dreaming of adventure in the great wide somewhere, yet also completely content watching Toy Story from the couch. My love of Disneyland began as a little girl on Peter Pan's Flight and only grows with each visit. But even when I'm not physically at the Happiest Place on Earth, I truly feel that same joy when I can help others (YOU!) experience the magic of Disneyland Resort too.
