Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my absolute favorite places to stay, but the concern about construction is absolutely understandable! The
Walt Disney World Resort is constantly growing and changing, and with all of that pixie dust floating around, sometimes things can get a little messy.
Obviously, there is construction happening, and because of that, some of the normal atmosphere that guests are used to may be a little different. That being said, you shouldn't notice noise before 9 a.m. or after dusk. Although the former eateries, game room, and shopping areas are closed during construction, you will still have plenty of options available to you. Centertown houses a buffet for breakfast and dinner and offers other options for lunch. There are island markets that have grab-and-go meals in three different locations around the resort. There are even offerings available at mobile food vending locations, so there is always something nearby. You will also have the option to take advantage of in-room dining.
I have found that when I am at the Walt Disney World Resort, I spend very little time in my room, and the time that I do spend is usually spent showering or sleeping. For me, the construction wouldn't really be an issue. If you are concerned, you can try to request a room in the Jamaica or Trinidad areas of the resort, which are farther away from the main construction areas. If you decide that this is not the right time for you to stay at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort, I highly suggest you come back once all of the construction is complete. There are some very exciting things in store that I, personally, can't wait to see!
