You guys are great! Was wondering- if we have left over food from theme park dining, can we take it back to our resort room? Also will they take it for us like other purchases? Thanks so much.

Nearly all the table service restaurants at Walt Disney World (except buffets) will box or wrap leftover food for you to take with you after your meal. Just last week I dined with friends at Le Cellier. My petite lunch companion could not finisher her giant burger, so our server simply wrapped it for her take home. I have also done this several times with desserts when my eyes were bigger than my stomach. Some of my best breakfasts have been leftover Disney desserts.

Unfortunately, the restaurants can not deliver leftover food back to your hotel. Actually, even the WDW stores will not deliver food to your resort. For example, if you were to purchase a t-shirt, a hat, and a box of cookies at Epcot's Mouse Gear store, they could send the shirt and hat to your hotel, but you'd have to take the cookies with you.

Good luck with your planning and have a wonderful vacation.
