You guys are great. Staying @ WL 7/18 to 25. Planning on BBB @ MK @8am and then ChefM@ Contemporary @ 9:30 am. How long will it take to get from the WL to MK then MK to Cont? Also, is this doable? Need to make reservations April 14th. Thanks Cheryl

First things first. i would double check your call date at 407-WDW-DINE. I am planning a trip to WDW that starts on July 12. Today, April 13, was the first day that I could call to make dining reservations. I'm nearly certain that April 14 would not be the call date for a trip starting July 18.

Now to your question ... Your plan does sound do-able. The boats start running from the Wilderness Lodge at about 6:45. The actual boat ride from the WL to the Magic Kingdom takes about 10-15 minutes, but I would plan to leave the WL at least 45 prior to your Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique reservation. This will give you time in case there is a transportation delay or something similar.

If you do get an 8:00 reservation for the BBB, you will be seen on time. Depending on which package you get at the BBB, you can expect your session there to take between a half hour and 45 minutes. This will leave you plenty of time to go back and exit the Magic Kingdom and get on the monorail. You'll take the monorail just one stop to the Contemporary for breakfast at Chef Mickey's.

It sounds like you have a great trip planned. Enjoy!
