    HI, you guys are great my question is at the front of the merry go round there is a sword, how do you go about getting the sword to pull up, my kids have tried and no luck is there a secret to it? Thanks

    Hi Elaine,

    There was a special Sword in the Stone ceremony in which guests could be granted a special power to remove the sword. This ceremony was discontinued in 2006.

    Since then, sword removal has been pretty much random. I've never actually seen anyone be able to do it - and my own children have tried, a lot. But I have done some research on this topic and suffice it to say that some folks do have the power to remove the sword.

    I won't reveal any spoilers here except to say that there's no secret something that you should be doing. There's no button to push or magic words or special twisting maneuver that will get the job done. Really you just have to be lucky.

    My only advice is to keep trying. I hope someday you get it!
