You guys are great. I have found so much info here. We are staying at Pop Century in May 2010 for 10 days. Without paying for a preferred room, which building do you recommend that is closest to bus trans, food court and a pool. Also wanted bottom floor.

    Laura,

I would suggest you request one of the non-preferred rooms in either Building 6 or 10. These will still place you near the main resort building, on the side of the building where they have the bus stations. With some Building 6 rooms you could have a nice, scenic view over the lake that runs alongside the resort. With either building you will move to views that are not of the parking lots (for the most part), but of the resort or the lagoon.

Certainly request a bottom floor room. There are no promises you will get them, but you should certainly try. And of course, as I always recommend, do the online check-in before you leave home for your Walt Disney World vacation! This great service speeds up the time you spend when you arrive, getting you off to the fun faster, and probably helping you improve your chances of securing a room with your unique preferences!

    Have a magical vacation!
