You guys are great! Which would you choose Spirit of A dinner or O'Hana dinner? Can't decide, traveling with 8 yr old daughter. She loves pineapple and is a great eater.

    Julie,

There are a lot of variables to consider to make that decision. The Spirit of Aloha has more of a show, and also more of a cost (by quite a noticeable margin!). It also takes a lot more time than 'Ohana. It is more of an "event" dinner than 'Ohana.

On the reverse side, 'Ohana has a fantastic view out on the Seven Seas Lagoon, and serves as a great meal where a family can connect, share the day's experiences, and make plans for the next day.

I recommend both to friends often. If cost is not an issue, I think the Spirit of Aloha luau is a fun experience that she will really enjoy, and I would recommend that first. The food is not overwhelmingly better, but it is plentiful, and the ambiance is warm and enjoyable. But if the cost seems a bit out of your budget, know that you get a lot of quality dining experience and pretty good food also at 'Ohana.

If you write me back with more questions, I am glad to help out!

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
