Welcome aboard, Timothy! Setting sail with Disney Cruise Line is always magical, but my family always leaves wanting just one more day (or two or three or four!) onboard. So, setting sail on the Panama Canal cruise for 14 days will be a fabulous time for your family! Two weeks of fun and excitement at sea and in some wonderful ports of call.
If additional staterooms in a higher category are still available on the morning of embarkation, guests may inquire about purchasing an upgrade at the port, however it is not guaranteed that any will be available, and most times, the cost will be the same as if you purchased prior to setting sail. So, if you think you want to upgrade, you might consider making that change earlier. However, you may certainly check into the possibility of any upgrades at the port. Simply arrive during your assigned port arrival time (which you will choose when you
check in online) and you'll be all set. But, if you do decide to arrive earlier, it shouldn't be a problem.
Good luck getting a wonderful stateroom, though whatever stateroom you have will certainly be great because you're sailing with Disney! Have a wonderful cruise, Timothy, but stop back prior to setting sail if you have any other questions! I'm happy to help!
