Are you guys going to bring it back the Pocahontas meet and greet?? She’s my favorite!

    Oi Marina!

Welcome to planDisney! Like you, we are huge fans of the character meet-and-greet experiences throughout the theme parks at Walt Disney World. We have been fortunate to meet some of our favorites, such as Minnie, Mickey, and the fab five several times during our vacations. We have also been quite lucky to meet some rare characters, such as Mary Poppins and her Penquin friends, Governor Ratcliffe from Pocahontas, and King Louie from Jungle Book!

The Pocahontas meet-and-greet was situated on Discover Island Trails, behind the Tree of Life at Disney's Animal Kingdom park. Pocahontas would meet guests throughout the day, at varied times within this area, and as of this moment, she has yet to return. You can sometimes catch her just around the river bend on the character flotillas on Discovery River. It is the hope that Pocahontas will soon be greeting guests again, so stay tuned to the Disney Parks blog for any updated information. Finally, be sure to visit our amazing Portuguese panelists at planDisney em português!

Meet the Panelist: Malanie, New York

Hi there! The Disney Parks have been a part of my life since I was a little girl. Introducing my children, husband, and family to all the magic that Walt Disney World can offer has led to countless moments with Mickey and Friends, Disney Vacation Club membership and fun on the high seas with Disney Cruise Lines! Our vacations are usually centered around a visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth, and I am super excited to help you plan and create magical moments for you and your families!
