Are there guidelines for backpacks or purses to enter the parks?

Welcome to planDisney, Marta!  With your Walt Disney World Resort vacation coming up in just a few days, I'm sure you want to be prepared with the right bag for all your park essentials.

I have quite the collection of park bags myself - from fanny packs to crossbody bags to backpacks and totes, I can choose a bag that works for the occasion and weather.

Marta, you may bring whichever style of backpack or purse you prefer.  Bags can be no larger than 24" x 15" x 18".  Clear bags are not required.  All bags are subject to security screening.  I recommend reviewing the list of prohibited items in the Walt Disney World Property Rules.  Although you didn't ask, a common question we hear is whether Guests are allowed to bring in their own water bottles and snacks -- and the answer is YES!

I thought you might be interested in the information my friend and fellow panelist Missy provided another Guest about what she packs in her park bag.  Also, check out some of our panelists sharing what's in their bag on Instagram!

Marta, please stop by planDisney again with any additional questions you may have as you plan your visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth.  We are always happy to help!
