is there a guide book, or better location to get descriptions on all the restaraunts? I have the dining plan and we're trying to make reservations. so hard to jump back and forth on the site.

Hi Kristen! Walt Disney World has so many restaurants that it can be time-consuming to look at the individual pages for each one on the Disney website. If you want to see more condensed descriptions of the restaurants to narrow down your choices, there are two guidebooks I really like.

The first is Birnbaum's Guide to Walt Disney World. This book is an official guide to Disney that contains brief descriptions and surprisingly honest advice about restaurants. It's easy to read and has lots of color photos. My other favorite Disney trip-planning book is the The Unofficial Guide to Walt Disney World by Bob Sehlinger with Len Testa. This book gives a comprehensive guide to all the restaurants, along with ratings from the authors and other guests.

The internet is also a great source for Disney restaurant information. The unofficial site www.allears.net has a WDW Dining Section that contains a page with links to sample menus for every restaurant. It's easy to click back and forth to the menus from this list to find restaurants with the type of food that your family enjoys. (On allears, click WDW, then Dining, then Menus to reach this page.) You'll also find guest reviews of the restaurants on this website.

Of course, we're happy to give restaurant reservation advice here at the Moms Panel too, so don't hesitate to ask us if you need help deciding where to make reservations! Hope you have a magical vacation!
