Can guests staying at FW eat at Roaring Fork at Wilderness lodge? Also, at what time does the boat start running that takes guests from FW to the Wilderness lodge? Does the boat also go directly to MK from FW campground?

    Hi Jody,

Thanks for joining us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I'm happy to tell you that Guests at Walt Disney World Resort, whether staying for one meal or one month, are welcome to enjoy all dining options throughout the sprawling, magical property.

As a Guest at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you could simply select the blue flag boat launch to board boat transportation over to Disney's Wilderness Lodge and enjoy any of the delicious restaurants located there. Boats operating under the blue flag conveniently bring Guests to the Resorts around beautiful Bay Lake, including Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, Disney's Wilderness Lodge Resort, and Disney's Contemporary Resort. This generally runs from 6:45 a.m. until 11:30 p.m.

If your day involves a visit to Magic Kingdom Park, just climb aboard the Motor Cruiser under the green flag. This large boat with indoor seating runs exclusively between Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You can hop aboard from 30- minutes before the theme park opens until 90- minutes after it closes.

Quick Tip: If you are planning to vacation at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort, you might want to spend an evening roasting marshmallows with your favorite chipmunk friends at Chip 'N' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long. You will love it!

Come back and visit us with any further questions.  We are thrilled to help.

    Wishing you many magical memories,

    Sally

Joining the Disney Vacation Club meant that our family could travel to a "World of yesterday, tomorrow, and fantasy" as often as we could sneak away, so we do! I would be thrilled to sprinkle a little Pixie Dust on your next unforgettable vacation. Learn More About Sally
