I have 2 guests who live in orlando meeting us for dinner at cinderellas royal table. They are on my reservation. What do they need for entry to the restaurant?

    Royal Greetings, Alexis!

We're so happy to see you back at planDisney. I have yet to dine at Cinderella's Royal Table, but it's at the very top of my wish list for my family's upcoming summer visit. I can't think of anywhere more magical to enjoy a meal than inside a beautiful castle.

As I'm sure you know, this Character Dining experience takes place in the heart of Magic Kingdom Park, which requires valid theme park admission. Your guests will need to have a ticket to enter the park on the day of your meal, in addition to the actual dining reservation. If they haven't already purchased admission, I recommend taking advantage of the current Florida Resident offers, but keep in mind these require valid proof of residency.

As Orlando locals, they may already have Annual Passes, so just be sure they check the theme park reservation requirements for the date and time of your meal. Magic Kingdom requires theme park reservations for all Saturday and Sunday visits, as well as for any entries before 2 pm on weekdays (excluding Good to Go days). They'll also need to review any Blockout Dates associated with their particular pass type.

If your guests do not have Annual Passes or other valid theme park admission, you might want to consider an alternate Character Dining experience outside of the parks.  Topolino's Terrace – Flavors of the Riviera is a fantastic choice for breakfast alongside Mickey and friends, while Story Book Dining at Artist Point with Snow White will allow you to rub elbows with Snow White and the Evil Queen at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, just a few minutes away from Magic Kingdom. My family enjoyed dinner there last summer, and our interaction with the Evil Queen is one of our favorite memories from that trip.

Regardless of where you decide to dine, I recommend arriving together so your party can be checked in and seated promptly. It sounds like you've already connected them to your dining reservation in your My Disney Experience App, which is always helpful in the event of delays or unexpected glass slipper losses. A reservation number will likely be requested by Cast Members at the resort gate for parking during your meal if you end up eating outside the parks.

I hope this was helpful, Alexis. If we can answer any additional questions, please hitch a pumpkin carriage right back to planDisney and let us know. We're always ready to serve as Fairy Godmothers when it comes to helping guests.

    Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!
