Hi Lindsay,
Welcome to planDisney!
Hooray for purchasing theme park tickets to the Walt Disney World® Resort!
It sounds like your ticket is not linked to your
My Disney Experience account. Go back to find your ticket purchase confirmation email. Then, log into your My Disney Experience account, click on the tab for My Disney Experience, click on My Plans, click on the plus sign to Add More Plans, and then click on Link Reservations and Purchases. You should be able to link your ticket and assign it to yourself.
If you cannot link the ticket, I suggest that
you call to speak with a cast member in Existing Tickets. You can also use the
My Disney Experience Mobile App to check your tickets. Just open the app, click on the three bars in the lower part of the screen, and then click on My Tickets & Passes. From there, you could also link and assign a ticket. Just click on the plus sign and then select Link Tickets and Passes.
Since your trip is coming up soon, I also want to make sure you have either purchased
MagicBand+ or created digital passes through the
Disney MagicMobile Service which is accessible in the mobile app. If you create the digital passes, you can use those for park entry. My family uses MagicBand+ for park entry. We love choosing our favorite designs and, quite honestly, it helps reduce the amount of time we have to use our mobile phones in the parks. So, even though there is a cost, that cost is a better value for us because we are trying to disconnect while on vacation and we are able to use our MagicBands on multiple trips.
Lindsay, you will soon be at the Walt Disney World Resort, just in time to enjoy the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival. We love the festival food, the
Garden Rocks Concert Series and the adorable topiary displays. Once you get that ticket linked, start packing and let the magic begin!
Magic and memories,
Donyell
