Hi there, Penny!
Thanks for sending your question to
planDisney. It's almost time for your daughter's star-studded vacation at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort to debut, so let's get going!
I love that you want to visit your daughter during her trip! My parents are part-time
Florida residents and often join my family for portions of our
Walt Disney World stays. You can absolutely enjoy Mickey waffles with your sweet grandkids at
World Premiere Food Court! Pool time will depend on crowds that day and is up to the discretion of the poolside Cast Members. You or your daughter should ask a lifeguard or lobby Cast Member if it's okay during your visit. The pools are usually the least busy as soon as they open for the day, and it sounds like you'll be around in the morning, so I think you'll be okay.
Penny, when you arrive at the entrance to Disney's All-Star Movies Resort, let the Cast Member know who you're visiting, and be prepared to show your photo ID. It also helps to know your daughter's room number so you can say something like, "Hi, I'm visiting Minerva Mouse, in room 1971." Once the parking attendant has verified your ID and your daughter as a registered Guest, you can park and join your family.
I hope this is helpful, Penny! Best wishes for a memorable day with your little Mouseketeers, and if there's anything we at planDisney can do to help with future Disney trips, please come back and see us again. We're all ears!
Have a magical day,
Betsy
