Hi Patricia!
Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney!
At this time, “pool hopping” is not allowed. So, unfortunately, you will not be able to use a pool at a different resort than the one you’re staying at.
The good news is that
Disney World resorts usually have more than one pool operating, so you may have two or more options to choose from during your vacation. There’s often at least one large feature pool where all the fun is happening, and at least one leisure pool where it’s a bit quieter and more relaxing.
Of course, if you’re looking for more exciting water features, the
water parks are usually open on an alternating basis. And it has been announced that the
free water park tickets on arrival day perk for Disney World resort guests will be offered during some of 2026. Specific details have not been announced yet, but I’d keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog for any announcements regarding which travel dates will be eligible for that perk.
In addition to pool time at the resort, make sure to check out all the fun extras. You can visit your resort’s webpage on
Disney World’s website leading up to your trip, and click the Recreation tab to see what’s currently offered.
I hope that helps! If you have any other questions as you continue to plan your vacation, let us know!
