Welcome, Deborah to planDisney! In just a few weeks, you and your family will be on a wonderful vacation to Walt Disney World! I am so excited for you all and happy to help you in any way that I can with your plans! March is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World, with spring right around the corner, the return of EPCOT International
Flower & Garden Festival (which happens to be one of my favorite festivals at Disney's EPCOT Park!) and 50th Anniversary Celebrations still in full swing throughout all four parks. You will for sure have an EARidescent time!
Activating military passes are so simple. You do have the option to visit Guest Services at Disney Springs or any of the Guest Relations booths located outside all four theme parks. However, I do recommend activating at Disney Springs, the lines are usually a lot smaller than at the parks. Plus, you won't have to worry about it the following day! Make sure that you not only bring the vouchers you purchased from your ITT office, but your military ID as well to activate. Did you know that you may also qualify for the military discount for Memory Maker? My family and I have taken advantage of this discount the last few years and we always go home with some magical photos! You will also have the ability to obtain a wheelchair tag for your stroller at Guest Relations as well.
Deborah, visiting Disney Springs right before your park day is such a smart idea! You will have the opportunity to do some shopping, and have the chance to dine at some pretty incredible restaurants! My new favorite at Disney Springs is
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin', which takes Southern food to a whole new world! I still dream of their Thigh High Chicken Biscuits and Hummingbird Cake for dessert. They are both incredible! If you have family members with a sweet tooth, be sure to stop by
Gideon's Bakehouse or
The Ganachery! You can never go wrong with cookies and chocolates made in-house!
Deborah, I hope that I have answered all of your questions today! It was a pleasure helping you! Have the merriest time visiting Walt Disney World!
