Be Our Guest at 5:15 on a MNSSHP night, which we have tickets for. Will we be able to change into our costumes after dinner? Can we change past 6? Do they need to check our costumes before dinner?

Hey Nathan and welcome to planDisney. Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a highlight of my year. With specialty parades, stage shows, and fireworks that you only see during this party, it is a not-to-miss spelltastic event.

As long as you follow the Disney theme park costume guidelines, you may arrive or change into your costume whenever you want. Some guests store costumes in Rental Lockers before the party so they do not have to arrive in them and then change when they are ready before or during the party. Cast Members will evaluate your costume throughout the night and will let you know if something is outside the guidelines.

So, enjoy your Be Our Guest Restaurant dinner costume-free, then change when you are ready. One bit of advice about the party-exclusive souvenirs: get them early in the evening before they sell out.

Nathan, I hope this information helps you as you plan for the most spooktacular event of the year. Please feel free to write me back directly with any follow-up questions or for more Disney vacation planning tips.
